SSH is one of The Harbor Institute™'s signature educational experiences designed to help students, campus communities, and fraternity and sorority members better understand the purpose, history, culture, and impact of Black Greek-Letter Organizations.
Too often, students only see the visible expressions of Black Greek life — stepping, strolling, calls, colors, and traditions — without understanding the deeper story behind them. ALL WE DO IS STEP, STROLL, AND HOP?! WHAT IS A BLACK GREEK?™ helps participants move beyond entertainment and into education, appreciation, cultural understanding, and community-building.
