One of the nation's leading authorities on fraternity & sorority life.
Recognized nationally by councils, campuses, headquarters, and national programming bodies — Attorney Rasheed Ali Cromwell has shaped how Black Greek-letter organizations, NPHC councils, and Greek communities teach culture, prevent hazing, and develop the next generation of leadership.
Through The Harbor Institute™, he has presented keynote speeches, interactive trainings, and consulting experiences for thousands of students and administrators at over 300 colleges and universities in 45 states.
He utilizes his unique background as a practicing attorney, educational consultant, speaker, and content expert to bridge gaps, increase understanding, and promote positive change through culture and context.
His expertise in Black Greek-Letter Organizations includes curriculum development at Howard University and The Ohio State University, where he helped create leadership and intake education initiatives focused on culturally-based fraternities and sororities.
He is co-author of Harbor's Guide to Culturally-based Fraternal Organizations and author of Discretion: Hazing, Pledging and Intake. He serves on the board of the Hazing Prevention Network and received the AFA Jack L. Anson Award for advancing positive change in the fraternal movement.
